​Our VET-1 program includes a nationally accredited Statement of Attainment for BSBESB301 Investigate business opportunities, awarded by Life International Training RTO #30326 {valued at $400}.​
​
Participants will also receive a Veteran Business Community (VBC) membership for 12 months
{valued at $500}.

BSBESB301 Investigate business opportunities

This unit describes the skills and knowledge required to identify a business opportunity and its key components. This requires undertaking research to determine the viability of the opportunity, with reference to the legislative frameworks affecting the business.

The unit applies to those establishing or operating a business providing self-employment, as well as those establishing a new venture as part of a larger organisation. The business opportunities may relate to products and/or services offered by the business.
Delivery and Duration

As part of the VET-1 course, this unit is delivered in a blended format across 1 x 4 weekly 3-hr online sessions and a one-day in-person Residential Day.
Entry Requirements

Outside of the VET-1 application process, there are no additional entry requirements.
Assessment Methods
-
Learners will be assessed through knowledge assessments, projects, market research, and practical demonstrations.
Accreditation
-
This unit is part of a nationally recognised training package and meets the requirements of the Australian Qualifications Framework (AQF).
RTO
-
This unit is delivered and assessed under Life International Training Pty Ltd RTO #30326.
Student Support
-
VET-1 course delivery and assessments are supported with mentors, learner guides, and variety of resources (including videos, audio recordings, and supplementary materials).
Fees and Funding
-
A one-off refundable registration deposit fee of $200 is payable by participants as part of their acceptance of placement in VET-1.

On presentation of your Statement of Attainment, Frontline Labs will refund your $200 registration deposit.

Refreshments and lunch are provided on the Residential Day. Participants are responsible for all other meals and incidentals, as well as all self-drive costs, parking, transfers, public transport, and other activities.

Interstate participants and those outside of the Currumbin area (greater than 3 hours drive) can apply for scholarship to cover the flights and accommodation they require to attend the Residential Day.
Pathways

Successful completion of unit assessment may assist participants in furthering their small business growth.
Legislative and Regulatory Compliance

All course content and assessment criteria for BSBESB301 Investigate business opportunities is in with compliance Standards for RTOs 2015 and relevant Australian legislation.
